For the first time a prize is awarded to draw attention to one
individual, company, association or organization that contributed to
the development of tourism in the Sjuhärads Countryside. The price
is supported by Leader Sjuhärads tourism project and the newspaper
Borås Tidning. One nominee from each municipality in Sjuhärad; and
the criteria for the nomination are: Person, company, organization
or association which by their actions influence and develop
tourism activities which may have contributed to the development
of rural areas in Sjuhärad.
A jury consisting of Annika Andersson - Leader Sjuhärad, Lisbeth
Johansson - UEAB, Leif Johansson - Sjuhärad Association of Local
Authorities, Rolf Danielsson - Västarvet, Jan Öjmertz - BT
appoints the year's winners. The prize will be awarded in
connection with the Textile Days in Gällstad September 27,
14:00 in Martins Hörna.
The nominees are:

Eva & Peter Tagesson, Majblommegården, Ulricehamns municipality (Member of Marknadsplats 7-Härad)
Sassi Wemmer, Sassis Resor 7-Härad, Bollebygds municipality (Member of Marknadsplats 7-Härad)
Tånga Fritid, Vårgårda municipality
Anders Mårtensson, Påarsp gård, Svenljunga municipality
Hofsnäs Herrgård, Tranemo municipality
Gerd Ljungqvist-Persson, Crea Diem, Herrljunga municipality
