Öresjö is a moderately nutrient-rich lake of
around 32 metres depth, and an excellent lake
for ice fishing. The lake hosts an annual jig
fishing competition - the winning fish is seldom
less than 10 kg. Öresjö has supplied drinking
water to Borås and Bollebygd since 1932. This
FAA also includes the Viskan river which extends
as far up as Örebro. Burbot is present in
both Lake Öresjö and Viskan.
- It is forbidden to fish with two pieces of
equipment at the same time, although you
can ice fish with a maximum of 10 pieces of
ice-fishing gear.
