Övre Åsundens FAA is based around the large lake of Åsunden, and is one of the largest fishing administration areas in Sjuhärad. Åsunden has a multitude of fish and in addition to pike-perch are bleak, burbot, vendace and ruffe.

• Fishing for pike-perch is forbidden during the spawning season which occurs during the end of May and the beginning of June (weeks 20 to 22).
